Gabrielle “Gabbie” Barthelemy

Gabrielle “Gabbie” Barthelemy is an eighth-grade student at Vidalia Jr. High School and a dedicated track and field athlete representing RADL Track Club.

Gabbie was one of RADL’s most consistent athletes throughout the 2026 season. Week after week, she continued to improve, showing the work ethic, determination, and ability to learn that Coach Jackson believes can take her much farther than she may even realize.

She competes in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 200-meter hurdles, and long jump. Gabbie challenges herself to make every run and every jump better than the last, and her long jump has become an important part of her athletic journey.

Her goals for the upcoming season are ambitious: 12.4 or better in the 100 meters, 25 seconds in the 200, 57 seconds in the 400, and 17 feet in the long jump. Long-term, she wants to reach 17–18 feet or better by the end of junior high and continue developing toward 21–22 feet or better by the end of high school.

Her ultimate dream is to compete on the Olympic stage. Gabbie understands that reaching those goals will require discipline, dedication, patience, and consistent work.

Coach Jackson’s Perspective

“Gabbie was one of our constants throughout the season. She continued to improve week by week, and I don’t know if she realizes yet just how good she can become. I believe this upcoming season she will begin to come into her own. I can see her running around 57 seconds in the 400, 25 seconds in the 200, 12.4 or better in the 100, and jumping 17 feet in the long jump. I have big plans for Gabbie. My hope is that she begins to see those possibilities for herself, believes in them, and puts in the work necessary to achieve them.”
