Amari “My Lil Superstar” Trevillion is a 16-year-old eleventh grader who competes in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, and long jump. She represents RADL Track Club and Port Gibson High School and trains under Coach Eddie Jackson, her personal coach for both high school and club competition.

Amari combines short-sprint speed, full-lap strength, and jumping ability. Her verified outdoor bests include 12.01 seconds in the 100 meters, 24.76 in the 200 meters, 58.26 in the 400 meters, and 18 feet, 9 inches in the long jump. Her indoor bests include 7.62 seconds in the 55 meters, 8.19 in the 60 meters, 25.72 in the 200 meters, 1:03.96 in the 400 meters, and 16 feet, 8½ inches in the long jump.

At the 2026 MHSAA Class 3A State Championships, Amari won the 100, 200, and 400 meters for Port Gibson High School. Representing RADL at the 2026 AAU Region 11 Championships, she won the girls’ 15–16 division in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and long jump.

Her favorite event is the 200 meters. As Amari explains, it is “not too long like the 400” and “not too short like the 100.” Her goals for the season are to stay healthy, improve her personal records, and earn offers from multiple colleges.

What Amari loves most about RADL is the family atmosphere. She values how easily teammates make new friends and how they work together to ensure everyone feels comfortable, welcomed, and included.

Coach Jackson affectionately calls Amari “My Lil Superstar.” He believes she is poised to become Mississippi’s top overall female sprinter across the 100, 200, and 400 meters, while contending for a place among the state’s top two in the jumps. That is his vision for her season ahead, grounded in his confidence in her potential.

Amari’s story brings together championship results, ambitious goals, and a team she considers family. Her next chapter is an opportunity to build on what she has accomplished and continue pursuing the athlete she wants to become.
