Alexa Hardy

Alexa Hardy is a 13-year-old distance runner, triple jumper, and youth triathlete representing RADL Track Club and Adams County Christian School. Through discipline, determination, and a commitment to steady development, she has established herself as a strong competitor at the state, regional, and national levels.
Alexa’s outdoor personal bests of 11:28 in the 3000 meters and 5:10 in the 1500 meters demonstrate her strength as a distance runner. At the 2026 AAU National Championships, she placed fourth in the 3000 meters to earn All-American honors. She later lowered her personal best to 11:28 at the 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games.
As a seventh grader, Alexa competed against varsity athletes and finished second in the 3200 meters at the 2026 MAIS Class 3A Varsity State Track and Field Championship with a time of 12:16.76. She was also the 2026 AAU Region 11 District Champion in both the 3000 meters and 1500 meters.
Alexa’s athletic range extends beyond distance running. She has recorded a 2:28.66 performance in the 800 meters and a triple jump personal best of 30 feet. She also competes in youth triathlons across the country, demonstrating her versatility, endurance, and willingness to embrace new athletic challenges. Her accomplishments have earned her recognition as one of the Top 20 candidates for Youth Athlete of the Year.
In cross-country, Alexa continues to build the strength and race experience that support her track goals. She opened the 2026 season by winning the Cathedral Twilight JV two-mile race in 12:52, finishing first among 43 runners. Her cross-country schedule includes middle-school, junior varsity, and varsity competition at distances ranging from 3000 meters to 5K.
Alexa’s accomplishments include AAU National All-American honors, two AAU Region 11 district championships, a second-place finish at the MAIS varsity state championship, selection to the Mississippi Track and Field All-Star team, and three appearances at the AAU Junior Olympic Games. She is also a two-time Most Valuable Runner for her school.
At RADL, Alexa’s development is centered on consistency, confidence, preparation, and long-term growth. Every race and practice provides an opportunity to improve her technique, become a stronger competitor, and move closer to her goals of running under 11:00 in the 3000 meters, under 5:00 in the 1500 meters, and reaching 32 feet in the triple jump. Her accomplishments have created a strong foundation, but Alexa’s story is still being written.
